The
Finger Lakes region has plenty of things to do and see. We
recommend you start by checking our events page to see what is
happening at the Showboat on the weekends throughout the summer. If you
are looking for something fun to do, peruse the list of activities we

information on activities and plan on making the most of your time in
the Finger Lakes area.
State Parks
We recommend you visit at least one of the following state parks if you
haven't been before. The Finger Lakes region was carved by ice age
glaciers. The melting glaciers carved amazing gorges and waterfalls
into the terrain, hence the phrase "Ithaca is gorges". Take the time to
visit the areas state parks and you won't be disappointed. Don't forget
your camera.

Family Fun Outings
These activities are fun not matter if you're solo, with friends or

There are several close by areas to do some shopping if you're
interested. The Waterloo premium outlet mall is about 25 minutes North.
East View Mall is located in Victor, about 45 minutes North West of the
Showboat. Try the Shops at Ithaca Mall. There are several places to
shop around close by the Showboat. The Bass Pro Shops in Auburn has
everything an outdoorsman could ever desire.
